« Words by Rakim » est un magnifique portrait de Rakim réalisé par Matt Bieler à travers un court-métrage. Reprenant deux textes du mc sur des versions remixées de façon à leur offrir une aura cinématographique, le réalisateur laisse l’art de Rakim parler pour lui-même, ne faisant que le magnifier. À cela s’ajoute quelques extraits d’interviews qui nous permettent de mieux comprendre la démarche de celui que l’on aime, à raison, appeler the G.O.A.T, le tout s’articulant autour de deux faces d’un vinyle.
