repreZent vous propose aujourd’hui une mixtape dans la plus grande tradition des mixtapes avec le mix de dj JS-1. Numéro 2 car dans les années 90 JS-1 et Spinbad avaient sortis une mixtape « Cold Cutz Remixes (If I Ruled The Radio) », enregistrée sur un enregistreur K7 4 pistes et dont le concept était de remixer des acapellas. Rien ne change ou presque en 2010 et JS-1 est allé chercher ses pépites (un rapide coup d’oeil à la tracklist suffit) pour nous produire cette mixtape pour notre plus grand plaisir et le sien.

A mix like this is completely opposite of many lazy djays’ mixes that let songs play all the way and then talk or play sound fx in between every track. This involves soo much more, and is soo much more fun to make. I used hundreds of different beats and acapellas.
